P.S. Do not forget to bring a rifle for little Jan and a tame Englishman for the kitchen.”
An entertaining and informative first hand account of what it was like to be a Boer guerilla fighter during the Second Anglo Boer War. A quick Google search will reveal how widely quoted this book is as a reference source on a variety of topics and confirm its stature as a Classic of its kind. A must-read for any student of South African or military history.
